Who We Are
Nancy’s Place is an 18-month program for youth aged 18 -21 who have made their mental health and wellness their priority. In this family-like setting each resident has a private bedroom and a shared bathroom, kitchen, and family room.
What We Do
We provide immediate shelter and care for youth facing homelessness age 18-21. We also provide services to promote resilience so our youth transition successfully to independent living. Nancy's Place in Montclair houses 8 youth in a residential home and is the next step beyond immediate care for young men and women on their journey to independent living.
Volunteers are an important component of the work we do whether it's providing basic services such as food and clothing or the services, such as employment and financial literacy that we provide to help transition our youth to successful independent living
